A neurosurgeon (Deepak Agrawal) and a robot scientist (Diwakar Vaish) originally partnered together to build a toaster sized ventilator for India’s poor.
Priced at $2000, the AgVa ventilator is about a fifth of the price of a conventional ventilator. Production of AgVa’s portable ventilator has shot up from 500 a month to 20,000.
